Charlotte Monkman
Based in Yorkshire, just north of Leeds, Charlotte has been working in rugby league administration for over a decade. Charlotte began working as Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Rugby Football League from 2012 for six years, during which she also provided administrative support to the IRL Board (formerly Rugby League International Federation, RLIF) on behalf of the RFL. Charlotte transferred over to International Rugby League in 2018 with the newly appointed IRL Chair, Nigel Wood. Since 2018, Charlotte has assumed further responsibilities and became Business and Projects Executive in December 2020.
Charlotte works closely with the IRL Secretary General, supporting him and the management team to develop the IRL’s capacity, structure and identity. In addition, Charlotte has full responsibility for the IRL Board of Directors and works on various business projects including IRL Congress, Rugby League World Cup Qualifications, diary management and scheduling, as well as being a member on various IRL sub committees including Audit and Risk, Laws Advisory Group, Classifications Committee, Olympics Committee and Commercial Committee.
Charlotte is married with three young boys, one of whom is a keen rugby player!
