A native of Sydney, Remond moved to Lebanon in 2000 where he commenced his rugby league career as the Lebanese federation’s technical director, progressing to become its CEO until 2019 before moving to the UK in 2020. His international administration began as MENA Director in 2010, then expanded with MEA and Americas responsibilities in 2016 and 2022 respectively. He has a track record of growing organisations, improving their technical, participatory, financial and governance functions and working with national federations through the tiers of IRL membership.

Remond is also an experienced event and tournament director.
