IRL sends condolences to Brian Juliff

International Rugby League extends its most sincere condolences to IRL director and long serving Wales Rugby League Board Member Brian Juliff after the passing of his wife, Anne.

Brian stood down as WRL Chairman last year - but continued to serve on the boards of the national govering body and th IRL - to care for Anne, who was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, a very rare form of blood cancer.

IRL Chair Troy Grant: "On behalf of the IRL Board, I extend my deepest sympathies to our good friend and fellow Board Member Brian Juliff over the loss of Anne, his wife and partner of more than 50 years.

"We have all admired Brian's strength and courage as he stood by Anne during her brave fight with Myelofibrosis and are saddened by her loss."
